In the choosing of the vines we wanted to maintain the ancient family wine making tradition guaranteeing the presence of San Giovese, of Ciligiolo, of Canaiolo and of Trebbiano Tuscan white, pairing all with other varieties such as Merlot, Petit Vierdot, Cabernet Souvignon for the reds and Semillion and Vermentino for the whites. The low production of grape per acre, scrupulous attention to detail during the various phases of production, a selective harvest, and a controlled wine making process followed by aging in french oak barriques, allows us to obtain structured and wines.

Sangiovese
Sangiovese in purity is of a beautiful ruby red color with violet reflections. The delicate perfume reminds one of violets and White Genet flowers as well as a hint of plums. Dry, slightly tannic, tasty, with a nice alcohol content and persistent taste. Preferred accompaniments for the Sangiovese include a vast range of meats, sprinkled with bits of garlic and parsley, giblets, deboned grilled rabbit, livers and steaks. We suggest uncorking the bottle at least 2 hours before consumption, bringing it to a temperature between 18-20 Celsius (64-68 Fahrenheit). -
Merlot
Merlot in purity, of a beautiful intense ruby red color, characteristic aromas of a vegetable bouquet with red fruits and flowers. A dry taste happily balanced by pleasant tannicity and important and lasting flavors. We recommend Merlot be combined with juicy, aromatized meats, roasted Porcini mushrooms caps and medium-aged cheeses. We suggest uncorking the bottle at least 2 hours before consumption, bringing it to a temperature between 18-20 Celsius (64-68 Fahrenheit). -

Tuscan Vermentino
From the carefully controlled fermentation of Vermentino grapes, comes this wine with nice greenish color which accentuate yellowish reflections. The smell is delicate to the nose with refined smells of flowers (White Genet, fruits (white peach) and aniseed). The taste gives a pleasant impression of depth and softness. It is enhanced in combination with good spicy aromatic dishes (pesto Genovese, stuffed vegetables) as well as foods that tend to be acidic (fresh cheese), and all fish dishes. Serve at a temperature of no more than 10 Celsius (50 Fahrenheit). -

Rosapenna
Rosapenna is a wine of unique liking. The brief soaking of the grapes gives it a soft pink Salmon color. The smell is reminiscent of cherries with aromas of raspberry, blackberry and strawberry, with also just a hint of oak. To the pallet it reveals the proper enveloping harmony of soft tannins. A very versatile wine. It is excellent as an aperitif, as it blends well with starters, as well as fish soups, all pasta dishes, white meats and all cured meats.
