Description
Sangiovese in purity is of a beautiful ruby red color with violet reflections. The delicate perfume reminds one of violets and White Genet flowers as well as a hint of plums. Dry, slightly tannic, tasty, with a nice alcohol content and persistent taste. Preferred accompaniments for the Sangiovese include a vast range of meats, sprinkled with bits of garlic and parsley, giblets, deboned grilled rabbit, livers and steaks. We suggest uncorking the bottle at least 2 hours before consumption, bringing it to a temperature between 18-20 Celsius (64-68 Fahrenheit).
